We supply a complete line of moulded, self-adhesive, polyurethane bumpers.

Our Bumpers are 100% Polyurethane. We use no plasticizers, oils or fillers which are widely used in our competitors’ products.

We offer Bumpers with two different Pressure Sensitive Adhesives:
An Aggressive Synthetic Rubber or a High Performance Acrylic to meet your specific requirements.

Custom shapes, sizes, colors and pad configurations are available upon request.

Standard Colours: Clear and Black

Every bumper is available in clear and black. The crystal clear bumper is nearly invisible when used for translucent or see-through applications.

Additional Colours: Most bumpers are also available in white, brown or grey.

Softer Durometer for sound dampening

A new softer durometer is offered in two of our standard profiles, BS 1-SD, BS 12-SD, BS 33-SD.


Adhesive Systems - Application Instructions


To obtain a maximum bond, surfaces need to be smooth, non-porous, clean, dry and free of all debris, oils and solvents. Clean the surface with a low strength solvent such as isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) or heptane. Follow solvent manufacturer's precautionary warnings and suggested handling procedures when using solvents. Bend pad slightly grasping bumper on sides without touching the adhesive. Apply with enough pressure to ensure a complete bond. Allow a dwell time of 24 hours before exposing to heavy force or weight. The composition of this product contains no migratory plasticizers of any kind, which would mar surfaces of contact. Users should evaluate the suitability of our Bumpers for a specific application under actual conditions.

BS1-94 High Performance Acrylic Adhesive (Must be specified when ordering.)

Adhesive testing for the acrylic and synthetic rubber was conducted using a polyester carrier. This information is for typical values and is not a specification. End user assumes the responsibility for suitability testing and approval of this products functionality. Adhesives are resistant to water and detergents. Not recommended for use with aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.


Polyurethane

The results of the physical test performed on the polyurethane material are summarized in the table below. Please note, these tests were performed on hand mixed samples and the values are averaged. Values obtained from machine mixed samples would be better due to improved mixing and reduction or elimination of entrapped air.
